Series of Trainings for CU "Kyivteploenergo" Launched
On July 6, the USAID Municipal Energy Reform Project (USAID Project) experts conducted a seminar for employees of CU "Kyivteploenergo" (KTE) on the topic "Important Issues of Tariff Formation in Heat Supply Sector". This is the first of nine training events that the USAID Project team plans to conduct for KTE employees by the end of 2018. The seminar covered important issues: latest novelties in the legislation on tariff formation in heat supply sector; basic requirements to formation of tariffs in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine # 869 on productive output of heat energy, heat energy losses in the networks, cost of FER, salaries and others; basic requirements to formation of tariffs in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine # 869 on inclusion of revenue in tariffs for heat energy; certain aspects of tariff formation in the heat supply sector: for heat energy generated from non-conventional and renewable energy sources, for transportation/supply of heat energy from CHS/IHS.
As a result of these seminars, the KTE employees will receive the relevant knowledge about the requirements of the effective legislation on formation and setting of tariffs, investments, metering, skills of work with the consumers, etc. The obtained knowledge is very practical and can be applied in the daily activities of the utility.
