The investment strategy of Vinnytsia SEAP for 2015-2020 contains a separate Targeted Program of public outreach and organizational measures financed from the municipal budget and aimed primarily at changing behavior of the residents, employees of the public sector, employees of the companies and organizations in the city to energy efficient behavior, also through raising awareness and new knowledge and skills.

Information campaign, including the campaign in Vinnytsia, is implemented by the USAID Municipal Energy Reform Project in Ukraine. 6 billboards and 2 city lights of the Project were placed in the city. In the spring, 5 secondary schools in Vinnytsia participated in the competition on electricity consumption reduction which was held within the framework of the USAID Project. One of the winners was Vinnytsia secondary school №27. On 12-19 June 2016, the European Sustainable Energy Week was held in the city.

SUPPORT OF CONDOMINIUM RESOURCE CENTERS

A separate structural unit of the Vinnytsia City Council – the Department of Condominium Development is responsible for support of condominiums activities in the city. The relevant Resource Center was created by the USAID Project on its basis.

In the first half of 2016, 60 new condominiums appeared in Vinnytsia (for comparison: in 2015 – 45 condominiums). In total, as of 30 June 2016, 433 condominiums were established in the city.

A training course for the condominium chairmen "Residential Complex Manager" was introduced on the basis of Vinnytsia National Technical University. Its participants attend 72 hours of lectures on effective housing management (building maintenance; legal aspects of the relationship with the providers and producers of communal services; financial and economic aspects of condominium activities, etc.).

Representatives of the Department of Condominium Development take part in television broadcast on local television, preparation of articles in the media and websites, work on production of social videos. More than 15,000 brochures, leaflets and methodological recommendations on the condominiums activities were produced from the year beginning for informing the public.
