The city is working on raising awareness among its residents about implementation of energy-saving technologies. For example, in June 2016 a seminar with participation of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency of Ukraine was conducted in Ivano-Frankivsk with the aim of explaining the directors of budget organizations a procedure for concluding energy service contracts for integrated heat insulation modernization of buildings as well as new opportunities of condominiums heat insulation modernization using ESCO mechanism. The city website contains information on the city banks offering energy-saving credits for population.

The USAID Project also conducts information campaign in the city.  Public service advertisement Keep warmth in a right way! developed by the USAID project is posted on 16 billboards.  Days of sustainable energy were announced in June 2015.  IntheperiodfromFebruarytoMay 2016  Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast TV Galychyna broadcastedthe program Your House  created with support of the USAID project  for the UA FIRST CHANNEL. In 2016 five schools in the city participated in the national competition on energy conservation organized by the USAID Project. Specialized school № 11 with intensive study of English was one of the winners.
