The SEAP includes a set of information activities aimed at raising energy awareness and encouraging energy efficiency behaviors from residents. They include a two-year training program for department managers of the Kramatorsk City Council Executive Committee and public institutions to develop local energy efficiency programs and implement improvement measures in their sectors; creating an information portal to monitor each building and public facility of Kramatorsk city; implementing a three-year municipal PR-campaign for the media and residents to encourage energy efficient behaviors (efficient use of energy resources) and change consumers; attitudes towards energy consumption and environment protection; implementing long-term energy efficiency training programs for universities and schools, establishing an online library of Kramatorsk energy efficiency and make it available for public use.

The USAID Project information campaign is up and running in the city of Kramatorsk now. A social advertising campaign “Keep warm in a right way!” that was developed by the USAID Project is posted on the city billboards. On 15-16 October 2015, the city conducted the Sustainable Energy Days campaign.

In 2016, five local schools participated in the national energy saving competition conducted within the framework of the USAID Project. Public School No. 5 with intensive study of foreign language became one of the winners.
