USAID Project Assistance in Energy Management System Improvement in Pavlohrad
The current energy management system in the city does not fully comply with the European standards and requirements, and this complicates the work and significantly reduces its efficiency. As of 2016, the energy management function is performed by the Unit for Reconstruction, Construction and Energy Saving of the Pavlohrad City Council. Problems with this structure include low level of influence on the processes of energy consumption control, insufficiency of specialists and the need to improve their qualification.
The investment project included in the energy management sector of the Registry provides for introduction of the municipal energy management system according to standard ISO 50001:2011 “Energy Management Systems – Requirements with Guidance for Use”; creation of the information system for energy consumption management for the public buildings of the city and communal utilities; conducting of the specialized training for personnel and managers for work in the municipal energy management sector.
Total expected financing for the measures in the sector – UAH 3.7 million.
