As of 16 September 2016, there are 1,000buildings in Kyiv with established condominiums and 911 buildings with the housing and construction cooperatives. The city is implementing an effective mechanism of condominium support.  In particular, through the municipal program “70%/30%”, the co-owners receive compensation for the measures on thermal modernization of buildings. The city pays 70% of cost of works, and the co-owners pay30%. In addition, Kyiv has allocated in 2016 UAH 4 million for compensation of interest on the loans for energy saving.

As of the end of September 2016,62 condominiums and housing cooperatives received form the municipal authorities grants for the energy efficiency measures. The residents of condominiums and housing cooperatives have collected UAH 10 million for energy efficiency measures in buildings.
