This project calls for gluing reflecting screens behind the radiators. These screens are made of 5mm thick isolation covered with a layer of aluminum foil for reducing the heat flow from the heating radiator to the outer wall near which it is installed. The equivalent thermal resistance which conditionally improves for total building envelope resistance is 1.2 m2·оС/W. The indicated measure increases by at least 1% the amount of heat transferred by the radiator directly into the room.

These screens cost UAH 50–95 per sq m.
