The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine (Minregion) has approved a final version of the Preliminary List of Projects of Ukraine’s Municipal Infrastructure Development Program on September 28. The winners are 22 projects for the total amount of USD 559.02 million. Five of them were prepared with support of the USAID Municipal Energy Reform Project (USAID Project). Our partner cities Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chernihiv won the right to implement the projects on thermal modernization of 242 public buildings, with total amount of financing over USD 78 million. Implementation of these projects in full will allow the municipalities to save annually almost 10 mln. m³ of natural gas and to reduce emission amount by over 31,000 t CO a year.
