On June 12, the USAID Municipal Energy Reform Project in Ukraine (USAID Project) held an orientation meeting for those municipalities that were willing to participate in the competitive selection of partner cities for the USAID Project. As part of the partnership, the Project will help the winners of the competition develop the long-term heat network development plans and optimize the district heating system. The event was devoted to detailed discussion of the issues related to filling in the applications, terms and deadlines, technical and organizational requirements, criteria for assessment of the applicants, and answering individual questions. The event was attended by seventeen cities, including the following oblast centers: Chernihiv, Dnipro, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia.
